Coach, thanks again for the scholarship offer - I really like your program, but I have to tell you, I may still have some other options that I want to check out yet.

This latest message means I am still leading right (had the "Don't know why they make me wait to sign" as prior message)?

Since the previous message indicated you were leading, this one means you are behind. They only send messages on lead changes.

I'm not so sure of that. Here are 3 messages from a recruit. I took no action after receiving the first message.

Sent:       03/26/2012 5:00AM
It would be a dream to play for you at [redacted], I don't know why they make me wait to sign, but I guess that's what I have to do.

Sent:       03/26/2012 8:01AM
Coach, I just can't say yes right now...I'm still supposed to take a campus visit of another school. I should know more after that.

Coach, I'm really struggling right now - you have a nice program (from what I know of it) and the school is okay, but it's such a big decision. I'm leaning towards no, but I need more time.

All my effort went in the cycle before the first message. Obviously took the lead from his previous school at that time. Spent no additional effort on him at all after that. After the second message I was still being considered. After the third message only the original school shows considering, I got knocked off.

Point is I got messages for events besides lead change...

I would say the message from the OP is even between the two school.

Back to the original question, I would interpret it as "even".  Is anybody else being considered by the player besides you?

its between 2 schools. Had message I was leading last night. Today got that original message. Since I think that might be a now you are behind message I sent about 10HVs or so, but got no new scholie message. So either I am behind, and farther behind than 10 HVs, or that message meant some other trigger was met (battle got closer or something?) but I am still leading after the 10 HVs, as I was still leading all along...unsure which of the two it is...

You get emails when there is a major change in the status, either a lead change or you knocking the other school off the list or you being knocked off the list.

This is true- I have seen emails when then leader hasn't changed.

I interpret this as even.  Good luck.

Sorry, my original statement wasn't fully true. Its not just lead changes, but as kmasonbx pointed out, its any "major" event. That includes lead changes, and either getting on or being knocked off the considering list.
