I had Walter Johnson win 221 games in his 1st 7 seasons in the Big Time Progressive.  He had 309 after 10 seasons and wound up with a 448-194 record at the end of his career.  The team made the playoffs 9 times and won 3 WS in his 1st 12 seasons.  It was a great ride and lots of fun!

Good luck and enjoy Ol' Pete!

My apologies for my lack of understanding...the league started in 1910, so it wasn't Johnson's "first" 7 seasons.  My hat is off to you...what a great accomplishment!

Well, it's not my doing -- Alexander averaged 356 RL innings/season for his first 7 seasons (more at WIS when you extrapolate to 162 games) and they were great innings.  He won 190 RL those seasons, so with the longer schedules I'm probably doing worse with his W-L record than he did!

In the Old School Progressive League (1916 through 50 game in in 1929), Old Pete is 260-144-31 in 574 games (496 starts). He'll be shy of 300 wins in our league, but you should get him there no problem in yours.

In the Genesis league, Amos Rusie over 9 seasons, 325 wins and 172 loses, career ERA 3.44 and a whip of 1.44.  In a very offensive era, for those 9 seasons i would not have any other pitcher.
