jobs...this is weird Topic

I am currently unemployed in knight deciding whether to renew my team or move on.
Looking at job apps, I am listed as "keep looking" for the team I just had. The thing is, my rating is"exceeding expectations". I know I can get the job back as no one else has applied, but......shouldn't I be qualified for the team I just coached when I was exceeding expectations? This us exhibit a how hiring is screwed up beyond belief.
Its like saying to a coach in the last season of his contract..." you're doing great would love to sign you to a long term deal". Then when negotiations go into the offseasin after a successful season " I'm just not sure it's gonna work out" even though there are no other coaches interested in the job

I may be mistaken, but I thought keep looking meant it was a step back?

It generally means you have little chance (3% or so) of getting it and, if you did, would be a bad career move

Yea that's pretty jacked. Did you send a ticket?

Sent a ticket just to raise the issue.  I am guessing I'll get a standard response since I am able to reclaim the team.  That's not my concern though, but rather what the job outlook status says about the algorithm behind the hiring process.

This part of the job hiring system is really screwy.

Ticket response was basically that yes, there is a problem, we hope to fix it but no idea when of every will be able to get around to it

"Hi, we know, we have a problem. We may or may not be fixing it in the future. Please, continue buying my products!"

A similar thing just happend to me. I was coach of Long beach State in Knight, had just gone 27-3 and made the NT. I forgot to renew by the deadline and had to apply the next morning. When I did I was automatically rejected--receive a rejection like 20 mins later. Thus I was rejected before the job hiring decisions even began. Pretty lame! Lost my team to this bug.
