Richard Dixon and
John Strine

Which is which?

My thought is Strine at PG and Dixon at SG.

Personally I would probably do it the other way around just because I like my SG to have high perimeter games.

I would put Dixon at point and Strine at SG personally.  I feel like Strine would have more TOs at point than you'd expect with that 64 Spd and 59 BH, especially against Press teams.  I think that difference balances out some of the extra Passing, and it's an easy choice to want the LP/Per at SG.  Dixon also has slightly better IQ for a small tiebreaker.

Yea I also think Dixon should be PG since his PA and BH is passable. Strine b/c he is a better ballhandler (important for sg's) and a perimeter player and he's slower.

Everybody seems to like PER at SG because that's what they're more used to seeing IRL.  I haven't seen any evidence that SGs shoot any better or more effectively in this game than PGs if they have decent BH.

I don't have any actual evidence of that I guess.  Obviously I've seen PGs with Per shoot well too.  Maybe it's just my personal preference to want the "true" PG at point and the shooter at SG.  When you play this game for years, it gets tough to separate "I like A better than B" from "A is a better way to do it than B".

Probably the best answer is to alternate them depending on the matchup.

Christopher Hallum

Hallum has high potential in passing, Coury has low, so by the end of the season it will be fairly clear that Coury is the 2 and Hallum's the 1.  For now against man teams I'll be playing Coury against the weaker defender (with Coury having 2/3 of a grade higher IQ I'll be at least starting him out with slightly higher distro).  What about against zone and press, though?  Who's the better PG and who's the 2?

I'd probably only move Coury to the 2 when the other team has a very good scorer at SF. He is so much better at defending it's not even close, and he should be able to get his 20 from either place.

We play zone, either configuration is basically the same defensively.

I wouldn't really love having a 40s Passing guy at point if I could help it.  I suspect it hurts the efficiency of everyone around him to some degree.  Obviously they're both pretty dang good at other stuff though.  My gut tells me that the extra Ath and Spd are more valuable offensively at point, so I'd probably play Coury there for now.
