If I have player A as the first person in a player rest hierarchy at a certain position, but fed up with a low avg. I put player B in the lineup, what does Sparky do in this case ? And assuming that for a time at least the SIM leaves my lineup as is, at what point will it convert to favoring the hierarchy, which in the long run I don't want to alter in a temporary lineup shakeup?

I got fed up with Joe Morgan '70 not getting on base, put a Pete Rose (year escapes me just now) without 2B as a position there anyway batting second after Otis Nixon. Last night Rose had one hit, one BB, scored a run, made no errors. So for the moment, copacetic. Not a long-term fix, but plugged a hole for the short term, and maybe a very rested Morgan will start hitting when I put him back.
