Resigning own FA's help Topic

I'm trying to offer contracts to some of my FA minor leaguers, and i keep getting some error msg that you can only sign them to the minimum amount for one year, which is what i'm doing.  What am i missing?

Don't offer any amount.   Just a minor league contract.
