I am just gettting back into HD after some time away and I was thinking about getting back into Crum. When I look at the DI teams, there are two types of advice..."Not qualified" and "Keep Looking (which says I am a long shot). When I look at DII, every team says I am over qualified.

Is there a chance I could get one of the long shot DI jobs or should I look for one in DII?

The general "consensus" is that you have a 3-10% chance of getting a longshot job.  You can always get a job that you're over qualified for, but it hurts your Loyalty and makes it harder to move around in future seasons until that Loyalty grade is repaired.

@OP....it is so stupid the way it is set up right now, but here's what you need to do (if you want to get a D1 job)...don't apply anywhere and wait until the hiring process ends.  Then during the brief open signup period before recruiting starts, you will be able to pick the low-end D1 job of your choosing.  That's where we are in the present absurd farce that is the hiring process.

Thanks for the advice, that's what I will do.
