Inform of redshirt and ineligibles Topic

Is there a situation where a recruit flat out wont accept a redshirt even if you send extra CV's? And when you recruit ineligible players is there ever any other message other than the ill be surprised if he doesn't play juco ball? Thanks for any help.

I'm pretty sure you always get the "I'll be surprised if he isn't playing JUCO ball next season" message when you sign an ineligible. I've seen it suggested that putting more effort into recruiting ineligibles makes them more likely to show up but I don't know if there's any truth to it.

In theory, there probably is some level of effort that would convince any player to accept a redshirt - but for some guys it will be huge
