Post pretty much stemmed from Kujay's post about his sf. I really can't get a handle on these type of sfs, with mediocre ath/spd, decent reb and decent but not great stats across the board.

I was just wondering what people think about this sf and potential pf for a D1, B- program running flex/man:

I passed on him for a 75-85 ath 90 core big, but was just wondering if this above sf is a good get for a B- team in a D baseline conf.

Edit: Took out potential and did a rough projection so no one knows this player actually is, to avoid giving unfair advantage to whoever is still actively recruiting.

what's the WE?

the only thing i would be concerned about is the scoring... but in the big south he would end up being a good to great defensive sf/pf

He is what he is.....  a slow guard

He's okay defensively in lower level DI and can score a little but he'd struggle covering a BCS quality SF.

I'd be nervous about playing him at the PF with the 64 RB.

That's my thought as well. Here is the player with his potential, since he already signed with someone:

he's not quite good enough. if he had 72 and low speed, i'd say he'd make an okay d1 sf. for d1 i like my SFs to be at least 75/75, and i think i have a team with a B prestige in UTEP in rupp.

I'd play him at PF if you have a serviceable SF. And if your next best PF is better than your next best SF, you could play him at SF, though without elite ath, I would have a hard time with his SPD at SF.

http://whatifsports.com/hd/PlayerHistory/Default.aspx?pid=1889092. - that guy only had 68 rebounding. While he had much better ath than your guy, I don't think the 64 reb will kill him at PF.
