Each team will represent a sign of the Zodiac.  In the Eastern League, each team will be from 1 birth sign of the Chinese Zodiac, and in the Western League, each team from 1 birth sign from Western Astrology.  Information on each sign can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_zodiac and here:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_Astrology.  Birthdays will be those listed for the players on http://www.basketball-reference.com/.  It is my extreme preference that each of the 12 signs from the Eastern and Western traditions be represented.  

Team names should at least refer to your team's sign, but does not have to match it exactly.  For instance Libra could be named "Scales of Justice" or Ox might be "Bovine Boarders".

I plan to choose my birth sign.  If somebody chooses my sign from the Eastern tradition, I will choose my sign from the western tradition, and vice-versa.  (If this league gets off of the ground.)

Tried something like this a while back, I love the concept but don't think it will fly, I'm in regardless.

Actually their is some conjecture on that as many believe Jesus may have been either a Leo or a Virgo...but I will gladly take Jesus on my team if that protects me from the wiles of the seble
