I've played 25 seasons in Tark, and don't know where to go next.  Any ideas?  I don't like D2, so maybe D3.

Wooden D3 is by far the best, but it just rolled into recruiting last night. If you want to give D2 another try, Iba is killer. Other than that, I don't know. Rupp isn't too bad at D3, and A+ Bethany is open.

sorry, i'm definitely staying in tark, but need a new direction to go

I'm just signed up for a D2 team which is the only level I have not done since my return to this game.   So I can't help you much there.  I've started with a D3 team with high prestige and another one with low prestige to try and build a high prestige team myself.  Recruiting is a lot more fun with a D3 high prestige team because you can get drop downs that are D2 caliber and build a monster team around them.  My low prestige D3 team looks to be a fun team because I'm thinking I might be able to turn them around pretty quickly.

in D1 I have 2 teams that are mid-majors and I can't say that I'm having fun there because I'm getting poached on by the top level teams left and right.  My low level D1 team wasn't fun my 1st year but could be my 2nd season because I'll have most of the team as my recruits and being able to recruit better than all the SIM AI teams, I should turn that team around in the conference pretty quickly.

All that said, I would try to find a team in a mostly human controlled D2 or D3 conference so you can banter back and forth and when you win the conference it actually means something.  And if you do well you can get the drop downs and build yourself a powerhouse.

Iba DII is awesome. Wooden and Naismith are both excellent DIII worlds. We could use you next season in the SUNYAC in Wooden.

If you are wanting to do D3 tark we would love to have you in the heartland

Come join us in the USA South...solid core group of coaches, typically among the top conferences in the world and a great rivalry with the nearby ODAC that makes recruiting locally a challenge bordering on occasional bloodbath. We've got three teams on Sim this cycle and all nine human coaches have been there at least 2 years and I think five of us have been around for 10+ seasons. We'd love to have you!

I personally think D2 is the best division in this game.

You'd have to want a ridiculous challenge but we have one or two openings in the MIAA, one of the best D2 conferences

D3 in Tark is highly competitive.  You have multiple options for great conferences with active message boards.

I'd love to have you come to the MIAC (Minnesota). Particularly if you want to come into the East and teach Hamline some humility twice a year.

In particular, Gustavus Adolphus might be a good fit. A super-class of seniors (4 over 580 rated as jr.; 8 overall) for the first season to get some prestige, and then you can pretty much blow it up and recruit/build the program as you see fit.

If you wanted to join the Heartland, Franklin has the #1 ranked Center, listing them as his favorite school. I'm really interested to know if despite listing them as his favorite school would he reject a call from them.

wow, the #1 C has a D3 school as his favorite?

Maybe I need to switch jobs to Franklin...  lol

Come join us in the University Conference. We have one team open right now - Stillman. We were #2 in conference RPI for the second time in the last 3 years, and have added some excellent coaches over the last 2 years. Stillman is going to have like 5 or 6 scholarships open so you can rebuild pretty fast. Please join us!
