At some point, you are able to see if a player is cut by going to the "News" tab of the team page. Not sure how long this information stays there, however, because a conference mate of mine cut a bunch of players, it was under the "News" tab for a little while, but now isn't there (this is in Wooden). I only checked once I saw this post, so my best guess is that it disappears from there after signings start.

You could try asking the coach, too.
