Hey guys,

http://www.wisjournal.com/hd/CoachProfile/Default.aspx?uid=238273&wid=8

Do I have a shot in hell of jumping to D1 next season (season 70)?  Let's say best case scenario is that I make the NT in Tark here.  I find the jobs process a bit odd because sometimes, if I sit out of Tark long enough, I'll be eligible for D1 jobs (i.e. the Jacksonville job in season 65, wasn't eligible for a D1 for season 60), so I guess I don't entirely get it.  All comments are welcomed, thank you in advance.

I'm going to guess no, unless you win some NT games. I think you'll get the "loyalty" issues response combined with "need to win consistently at this level" due to the S68 9-19 record... too much jumping in and out and around. But then again, you've just passed 300 total wins, so some lower level team might take you on.

I've never done the leave-and-return thing before, so have no real idea how it affects job movement.

i agree with wronoj, i think you need to win some NT games to move up to d1. the last 10 seasons are taken into account. when you moved to jacksonville, it was a d-, and im guess you were roughly on the border - well, the two seasons since, i would expect to bring you down somewhat. so i would think if you can have good enough seasons to make up for the first two, you will be back on track. although, i personally would wait till i could get a higher prestige d1 team, to try to move up.

also, the reason you may have seen a change between 60 and 65, might have been due to the job change that took into account a longer period, among other things. generally speaking, your job status should not change over time, if you are not coaching.

Thanks, there's a specific team I'm looking for and they are low(er) end so we shall see.
