If I place a ML player on the DL, can I promote a minor leaguer until injured player recovers?
If not, what is the advantage of placing him on the DL?
Thanks

Yes, you can.

If you then demote the player that was promoted will that player receive a demotion penalty?  This is what I have always wondered and not had the guts to test.  So Player X is hurt for 22 days and is placed on the 15 day.  I promote player Y to replace him.  Once player X is healthy I remove him from the DL and demote player Y.  Can Y get demotion penalties?

I believe if you demote him during the same cycle as activating the now healthy guy there is no demotion penalty, but let someone else chime in on that.

Also, the advantage of placing anyone injured on the DL is it allows the Medical budget amount to factor into his recovery so he can regain some ratings, providing your budget is high enough.  If you just 'rest' an injured guy, his time will eventually allow him to play again, but his recovery will not have this benefit.

I have multiple players available for trading. How do I copy and paste these players to a chat message?
Thanks

If you go to their player card, in the lower left there's a clipboard with a green arrow on it. Click that and their card will be copied for you to then paste in a TC message.
