I've come across some pitchers who have hit .400 and scored about 20 runs in a season, but I'm wondering if anyone has seen a decent hitting career out of a pitcher?

I have never paid attention to that.  If a guy can't pitch he doesn't get the opportunity to hit.  If he can pitch, I don't worry about his hitting.
