i think this data is pretty interesting. a few thoughts.
the big observation last time i posted this was that when "seble's new engine" came out, about 2 years ago or so, there was a huge population hit in d1. Massive - like 30% or so. Well, looking at the data, it looks like things have bounced back a bit in d1. for example, in world 10 - 2 years ago, there was a pop of 172 (max ever was 175). then after the new engine hit, things dropped badly. a year later, they had balanced out, at a low of 122. Now, the pop is up to 149, the maximum since that low a year ago. (i used 12 seasons = 1 year for this, its very slightly longer than 1 month for a season though, it was 1 month 2 days this time around)
of course, world 10 was a new world, subject to new world mechanics. world 7, i am guessing its about 1 and 2/3rds of a month for one a days. well 2 years ago, it was at a pop of 186 (max 194). a year later, it was 135 (127 min in last 2 years). now, its at 144, a high for the last year.
so, it seems d1 may be coming back somewhat. thats good i think, hopefully continued changes by CS will continue to improve things.
and look at division 3! the last year has exploded. did WIS start advertising or something? freeHD didnt come back, did it? that is a ridiculous uptick!
