Does Training affect Development? Topic

I've seen vague references to it, but nothing concrete.

I don't care if my old guys age or if my ML guys get hurt. I'm in the middle of a ground-up rebuild. But, if low training is going to keep my prospects from improving, I'd like to know.

Thanks.

Training also reduces risk of injury, which could cause a setback of development for your prospects.

Many owners consider training the one budget item that you can't skimp on.

Yes. Training increases physical attributes of prospects in the off season.
Physical attributes include: range, arm strenght, power, velocity and I'm pretty sure stamina and durability (somebody correct me if I'm wrong).

The higher your training budget is, the more younger players will develop in those areas and it will also deter older players from losing points in those areas.

You won't be hurt getting your training number to 16-20.  It's highly recommended by most people who know this game.
