If there are two teams battling for a player and they both run out of money without the player committing, will the player ever commit to one or the other even though neither will ever spend more on that recruit?

I *think* the player will eventually sign with whichever school is in the lead when the money runs out, assuming the player is considering both schools, but having never been in that position, that's an educated guess at best.

Yes, basically the player will eventually sign with the team in the lead...unless of course somebody else figures out what is going on and jumps in with money to steal the player.

As long as he is considering someone and they have a scholarship available he will sign eventually
