I remember a DIII game from the early seasons. The halftime score was 45-1.
In those days, low scoring games were common. The slow tempo was too strong and, if both teams used it, we saw final scores as low as 32-29.
For individual futility, I had a freshmen center who missed his first 27 shots that season. He couldn't even tap one in. By senior year, though, he was All-Conference
