Hey all - wondering if anyone has seen this before or can offer an explanation. I never have.

I took over Butler in the Smith world. I have a player that is listed as a sophomore, but has his "recruiting info" and his HS GPA in his player profile, and only one season of listed stats (his SO year).

Since it lists his HS GPA, and that his last school is a High School - it looks like I have a 3-year HS player on my team.

Not a big deal. He'll be a career backup as I'll do my best to recruit better players obviously, but just wondering - it's got me baffled!

I don't think that it ever lists the Junior College.  It might be nice to see a note on the stats page that indicates "57   Livin' with the folks Community College, Walla Walla, WA", or some such.

I realize it doesn't list his stats, but it shows me his HS GPA and has his prior school under his name as a High School and not a junior/community college, see what I'm saying?

This is a normal rising sophomore.

It lists his GPA as 2.8, and his HS GPA as 2.85. Those stats are from his first season at Butler under SIMAI as coach (check out all the conference games agains other Horizon teams). There is no "recruiting info" I can see except that he was recruited by SIMAI. 

but it's been a while since I've signed a JuCo, so maybe I remember how it lists them incorrectly.

you didn't sign this guy-- SIMAI did. He's already played a season at Butler. 

wronoj - I know. I just took over the team. I haven't signed anyone.

I have other SIM-signed players on the team that are freshmen so he's not a rising soph.

However, I went and found some other JuCo's and this is how they list them, so I figured it out. My bad - this thread can be ignored!

I signed this guy.   I had recruited him out of HS in Nebraska, but ran out of money.  He went to Junior College at Northwest College, Powell, WY.  I signed him after that 1st JuCo season in WY.   Since he's past his 1st year with me, then no mention of HSGPA.  Otherwise, that's how they look, no mention of the JuCo location.

One interesting note:  his HSGPA was 3.05, but when I signed him as a JuCo Sophomore it listed his HSGPA as 4.00, just the same as his JuCo GPA.  I don't know if that is a game glitch, but since it may really help me, I'm not complaining.

I wonder if it has helped him learn your sets faster
