NBA Team Icon Progressive needs 2 for 1990-1991 Topic

The NBA Team Icon is starting up our second season and we need two owners for 1990-1991. The teams available are the Pacers and the Clippers. The basic premise of the NBA Icon is that you can only draft players who played for your team at some point in their career. If a player played only for your team (or for only your team and the defunct team(s) you get him automatically (good or bad) and he must be kept on your roster. Also if a player played for the first 10+ seasons of his career for your team and then spent 3 years or less (total) with other teams you get him as well. This is called a Team Icon.

The rosters are below. Feel free to ask any questions. The defunct teams are the Timberwolves, Nets, Bucks plus any future teams (Raptors, Grizzlies, etc.) Also for divisional alignment purposes the Kings moved back to Cincinnati (Midwest Division of the Western Conference) and the Hawks moved back to St. Louis (Central Division of the Eastern Conference.)

I'm trying to understand this League, so I'm going to ask this question here, in hopes it might help not only me, but others.

How is Sam Mitchell a Team Icon for Indiana, when his first 3 seasons were with Minnesota, and he only played 3 seasons with Indiana?  According to the definition, it seems he would have had to play his first 10 seasons with Indiana to be a Team Icon for them.

No one selected Minnesota all3

Yep. Since by the rules Sam Mitchell would only be eligible to be drafted by Minnesota and Indiana he became a Team Icon for the Pacers because nobody selected Minnesota.  So the Pacers are the only team left that can have him.

Any chance perspective owners could get a list of players available in the Draft posted here?

OK, how about just the guys that these 2 teams could possibly Draft.

Appreciate the list greatly.  Thanks!
Unfortunately, if I understand correctly, it may have muted my interest.
The only players Indiana can draft (if they drop someone) are Sichting, Frederick, or Dreiling, correct?
(Hopefully) One final question: are trades OK (as long as the teams "work")?

Now, with the edited post.

Yep, I added Undrafted FAs from last year. There might be a few more depending on the cuts of current teams. And yes, trades are ok as long as the traded players are eligible for their new team.

Anyone? Its a cool concept and it makes building a team challenging.
