I know I saw a post recently regarding the more important rating....range at 2B or in LF?  Glove in LF or at 2B?

Where would you put these two guys, if one of them had to play 2B and one LF?

Parnell at 2B, Lee in LF
The ball is hit towards 2B far more than LF and the extra range means Parnell gets to alot more balls than Lee and generates a bunch of + plays. Sure, he will also collect more errors with a glove that is -5 from "average" for the position, but the net effect of getting to more balls and generating outs that would have been singles with Lee is in Parnell's favor.

I agree with overeasy, though both would do just fine at 2B. Parnell will generate enough + plays to make up for the errors his lower glove rating might produce.

There are a couple of nice 3B in the free agent market I think I may pick one up, but I was thinking Parnell at 2B as well.  Thanks, not sure I would be comfortable with Lee's arm at 3B.

As to Lee's ability at third base, I think his glove would make up for the amount of players he can't gun down, or off target throws.

yeah, currently 3B is my only 'weak' spot, as I have last seasons super utility guy there.  I think he will do an adequate job but he isn't a super option at 3B and is more suited for coming off the bench to play multiple positions.  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Tom Fogg
