I am new to HBD and was wondering if anyone had any advice or tips on what I should do with my draft formula?

I hate it.  I dont know of anyone that uses it.  Its a lot easier to pick through the 20-40 worthwhile players you'll see manually.

I use it THEN I sort through the players that come up.

I target 6 SP's, no DH's.....and then mix and match on the other positions.

Then I usually look at the top 100+ players and then manually rank the Top 40 or so.  I continue to tweak until the night before the draft.

I started with the formula mentioned in this thread, then tweaked it to my liking.

After I apply the formula, I go through and manually rank the top 100 to 150 guys from there.  Then I go dumpster diving for lower rated gems, like speed/contact/range guys or power/eye DH's, guys that kick *** in the minors.
