Rules:

(*) Each season we will be eliminating at least 2 owners from the league.
(*) If eliminated, your franchise is either offered out to someone on the wait-list or it is disbanded.
(*) ** Any disbanded franchise will have its players blacklisted until the final season. (this has not yet been determined. We may go with a format of entering players into the Draft each year)
(*) Each years draft will consist of rookies and players not on the blacklist
(*) Drafts will begin ASAP in some cases while previous season is taking place. Idea of the league is to go through all preceding seasons in time to play the 2014 season LIVE Rotisserie format!

Criteria for elimination: (elimination apply to league commishes as well)
1.       Roll-call: Any team which fails to post their roster in the leagues Roster thread without requesting additional time from the commish will be eliminated. Rosters must be finalized by the Transaction deadline. I.E. during the 2007 season, all teams will need to post their 2008 roster (keepers) by the transaction deadline for that season.
2.       Delay of Game: If you fail to draft or enter your team within a 3 day window, you will be eliminated. In other words, if you disappear without any communication for 3 days straight, you are eliminated. 
3.       Wins floor: If you fail to win 40 games at the transaction deadline, you will be up for elimination.
a.       If there are already 2 to 4 owners being eliminated due to roll-call, or Delay of Game rules above, you will be spared elimination.
b.      If an owner goes MIA, you will be placed on the waitlist to take over their franchise.
c.       Once on the wait-list, you will be at the top of the list for all future seasons. I.E. if you didn’t make the wins floor for 2007 and were eliminated, if there is an opening via 2008, you will be given the option to take over the franchise.
4.       Biggest Loser: if there are no eliminations via roll-call, Delay of game,  or Wins floor, owner who won the fewest games will be eliminated.
a.       You will be placed atop the wait-list above Wins Floor owners. Any franchise which becomes available will be offered to these owners first.

Draft order:

~ Worst 10 (non-eliminated) teams will each be entered into a lotto to determine the order. (via random.org) No incentive for having more losses. Each lotto team has an equal chance at a higher pick!
~ No tie-breakers needed. If multiple teams are tied for 10th, the other teams will be added to the lotto! I.E. if team A and B both have 62 wins and are tied for 10th, then we will have 11 teams in the lotto.
~ Remaining order is worst to first. Order repeats each round.

Draft order for Roto LIVE league 2014 will be:
**Take note as there is a major incentive to win leading upto the LIVE season!
~ First 5 draft picks go to the teams with the highest number of playoff wins
~ The remaining teams will be by highest combined win total down to lowest
~ Draft order repeats each round
Top 3 winners of the Live Rotisserie league (2014) will get the GC prize distribution.

Wait List order:
Wait list will be comprised of owners interested in joining the league and owners who have been eliminated. 
1.       Biggest Loser highest win total to lowest win total.
2.       Delay of game losers will be next in line for re-entry.
3.       Wins floor violators come after.
4.       If none of the above are available, interested outsiders will be offered the franchise. (via classified)

League format post elimination:
This lists out the league format after elimination has taken place each season. There may be some variance. If say 4 owners decide not to come back during a season where we are eliminating 2, we may decide to drop down to the next format.
Example: after 2007 there are 4 owners who violated Roll-Call or Delay of game criteria and no team new fill-in owner is ready to step in, then we will jump from 28 to 24 team format!

2007: 28 / 8 -->  2 to 4 Owners eliminated
2008: 26 / 4 or 24 / 8 -->  0 to 2 owners eliminated
209: 24 / 8 -->  4 owners eliminated
2010: 20 / 4 -->  2 owners eliminated
2011: 18 / 2 -->  2 Owners eliminated
2012: 16 / 4 **Only if needed will an owner be eliminated. Not to go below 12
2013: 16 / 4 or 12 / 2 **Only if needed will an owner be eliminated. Not to go below 12
2014: LIVE league Rotisserie format using CBS Sports fantasy baseball site consisting of the surviving owners whom were not eliminated. 12 – 16 team rotisserie league!

League Settings:
  

Interleague = True
Ballparks = 30 Active ballparks. Ballparks incorporated into the draft. I.E. if you want Yankee Stadium, you haveto draft it before other owners do.
DH = Both || WW = N || Trades = Y || AAA = Draft
League format more than 24 teams =
DH = NO || WW = N || Trades = Y || AAA = yes lowest quality 6/6 (auto w Real Name) || Sal Cap = No || Trade Vetoes = 6
 
Once we get to 24 teams:
DH = both leagues. AAA = NONE or a AAA Draft.

Commissioners:

Rules apply to all including the commish. We will have a list of commishes. If you'd like to volunteer to be a co-commish, let me know. I'll be reaching out for help with commissioner tasks. If the commish is eliminated, next in line commish takes over as head commish.

I will be donating most of my league founder credits back into the league Pot. This is NOT A REQUIREMENT! It is a good gesture done to drum up the league pot and make it more interesteing. No Commissioner is obligated by this at any time.
