Roughly what quality of recruits will talk with D prestige in DI?

will one stars talk with me?

will kids in the 100-150 position ranking range?

kids better than 100?

I have a D+ team, so my most recent recruiting should be fairly comparable.

Kids well under the 100 ranking range will talk to you - you'll likely be a backup option for them, but they'll be recruitable at least.  With my D+, I got a few guys in the 30-50 range (can't remember exactly - Clifford Neal was somewhere around #30 SG) by pulling them down.  I was a backup option for 1-2 stars, but they tend to get picked up by the big six schools pretty early (or, worse case, they'll come in late after you've dropped your $ on him), meaning a D prestige has a slim to none chance of landing him, so I tend to stay away from the starred players.

I'll second what ryrun said. I was never able to get anyone better than 40's at their position with a D prestige though.

But by all means, don't limit yourself to 100+. You'll definitely find good players in that range, but your search should start much higher than that.
