I haven't played in D3 in a long time and was wondering what overall rating seems to be the cut-off for pulldowns.

I'd say it's around 470... this is based on my experience in Rupp.

Using ytzr's tool, he showed 15 dropdowns from d2 to d3 that ranged from 480 to 502.  It also shows 286 dropdowns from d2 to d3.  I realize pull-dropdowns are a little different than pull-downs.

When I played D3 in Iba, it seemed like you could get better players in D3 compared to Rupp.  So I have assumed that there may be variations based on the worlds....?
A good idea may be to look at some of the top prestige teams in Allen to see who they get considering them.

Something I was told early on was to do an all-recruit search for high school players and to take note of the highest rating that shows up when you search at your division, then add 10 points to find out the max rating for a player outside your 300-mile circle that you might be able to pull down. For players inside 300 miles, add 25 points onto the max rating you get when searching at your division. Not sure if its rock-solid and I usually stretch it another 5 points or so just in case, but I haven't had a player outside of that range come to me yet.

I pulled down a 495 two seasons ago but he was 10 miles away.
