got this message from a cc:

Don't think he's ruled out your program yet, but certainly doesn't talk about it very much.

Sounds like a backup message to me.. anyone with experience in the matter?

i sometimes get that from the coach when the recruit responded to my normal phone call saying he wants to talk more. i think this message just means he's not considering you yet so you need to put some effort in to get him

This is correct.  He's dropped already; he's just not considering you.
