Coach, I'm sorry to be the one to break this to you, but our best efforts couldn't save McColl. He died last night. I've always wanted to say that! Seriously, it's mild ankle sprain. He's at about 100% right now.

That's hilarious.  You know what I've always wanted to say?  "You're fired!"  But seriously, I apparently can't fire anybody on my staff.  You will keep your job forever.  The standup comedy circuit will not miss you.

The first time I received that message, I gasped aloud and re-read it.  I really thought my player had died. LOL

Hahahaha that would be hilarious if the game had random deaths.

I'm sure Al and many other long time coaches will remember the drive-by shooting death of a player.

Long story short - A coach used a ton of booster gifts and recruited a player. The player was removed from his team as part of his penalty. For some reason, the player showed up again on his team the following season. WIS snuffed him.

I do remember that.  Those were the really fun days of HD.  Dowdygate, drive by shootings, my constant calling out TK in the forums for crap aspects of the game...... ah sweet memories.... btw.... TK added me as a friend on facebook a few months ago.  I thought that was kinda cool that he remembered me :)

Yeah the first second as I read that message I thought it was true, especially the way my season is going.  It's like, well, things can't get much worse can they? Oh CRAP
