Help estimating prestige multiplier please Topic

Can anyone tell me what the multiplier (in D1) would be for a C+ team recruiting against a A+ team?  I'm assuming that the A+ is a "low A+" and not A+++ that just won back to back NT.  Distance is almost equal between the schools - I believe the C+ is 40 miles and the A+ is 10 miles.  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

At least 2.5 (so his 1 CV = 2.5 of your CV_, probably greater than 3.0. You have no chance of winning.

The old lostmyth2 estimate was 70% per letter grade, so C+ to A+ would then be about 140% advantage.  That's pretty much exactly the same as tianyi said.  It's a pretty big advantage for the A+, so if he really wants the guy you're in trouble.  Of course, neither of your programs are actually AT C+ prestige right now...

Guess it's not possible that he has a second ID.  That would be unheard of.

People do that?

So if the A+ spends 30k the C+ would need to spend about 73k-ish?

70% per letter grade is an extra 189%, not 140%, isn't it?

Yes, I oversimplified it.
