Prestige still needs tweaking. Topic

So prestige seems like it still needs work. Can anybody make a logical explanation as to how these two teams have the same prestige at the end of season 70? Also in this time there were 3 draft picks for me and 2 for billyg.

baseline + conf prestige? And how high were the draft picks for each?

Your 14-15 season definitely didn't help much.

You have to be a very high A-

I'm at WVU he's at S. Carolina, should have mentioned that, so the baseline prestige is prob the same, and the BE conference prestige is currently A- versus the SEC's B. While the 14-15 is there, my RPI of 71 is still better than the RPI of 73 SC had in their PI season. Draft picks for me are 22, 38, and 17, for billy 21 and 33. So no advantage on his end there.

From my experience, wins matter more than rpi in prestige. And plus, the diff between high end A- and low end A- for a B baseline team is sizeable.

I agree that prestige definitely still needs work.

Still does not rely enough on what happens on the court.

i wonder if WVU is a B- baseline? i think south carolina is a B.

i would tend to agree you have almost a full partial grade prestige advantage on me, too.

draft picks only affect prestige for the following season. i had none last season, did u? that would be a slight advantage i guess?

also i think we all know that coach is a small factor in team prestige. i have a d1 championship not that long ago on this account, i wonder if that could be helping? or maybe i have 2? im not sure really.

Well for this season my prestige is higher, since I had 3 draft picks I was bumped to an A, but I just find it really odd that those resumes produce the same visible prestige.

yeah i think its strange. i really think u had near that 1/3rd grade tho, and also, i would have to bet wvu is a b-, which would explain a lot. that basically means with similar performance, until you get to the high end, you are probably going to be off by a third grade. put that with the other almost third grade, and you are looking at a significant difference.
