In MLB, the waiver wire is generally a "secret" (other than leaks), and the only time waiver information is releaased is when a transaction occurs as a result of the waive.
Taking that to HBD, if a revokably waived player is claimed, is there any reason why the 30 teams other that the waiving team and the claiming team should know who claimed the player, which is what would happen if it appeared on the player card?
While I like the idea of having another way to keep this information besides the inbox correspondence (I've accidenally deleted one or two), I'm not sure if a public display is the best answer.
Maybe a new report which would list the player, waiving team, and claiming team, that can be restricted by team so that you can only see your own waives and successful claims, might be better.
