#1 isn't really good at anything
#2 looks like a backup SF/PF type
#3 is bad

I guess #2

#3 isn't bad. I would also say 2, but it's close (between 2 and 3).

I should note that this is for a career backup spot... Not looking for much more than a role player.

What role are you looking to fill?  Just someone to eat up minutes and not kill your team? If that is the case I would look for the best combination of ATH and Def.  Without knowing the High potentials I would consider #3.  A mid 60s Ath and about 60 Def is definitely acceptable at DIII.  Plus, you never know that perimeter might turn into something. His passing and ball handling won't kill you either.  If you just need someone to come in to grab a few boards, then #2.  I would eliminate #1 from the debate. This is for a small forward, right?

This. I think player 3 is the surest bet.

All mid-50s

1 and 3 are useless. Where would you play him? 60 ath/60 def might look good, but without speed, he can't guard backcourts. No sb, not really good at guarding bigs. Only #2 can actually play a position (pf) should his reb get to 70.

Tianyi, I agree with you 100% that  #2 would be the better player to backup the PF slot.  I overlooked his speed suggesting that #3 would be the better SF.  Along with speed for SF I also look for the best combination of BH and Pa for my SF.  Number 3 is starting off 7 points higher in both categories, would you still consider #2 if the position needed is SF.  I agree speed is very important for SF, but what is the cut off or BH and passing.   How much speed would you sacrifice for BH and passing.  Would you rather 65 sp and 35 for bh and pa, or 50 sp with 50 bh and pa?  At DIII, of course

It really would be better to post projections rather than ratings + potential.  You just gave those potentials to everyone on the forums who may not have FSSed the appropriate states.

The names aren't there, and I altered all the ratings so someone can't just search by rating and find the player.
