Anyone ever see this? In my game, the player got swatted on a dunk and 1 second later, he tipped it in. I know it's cosmetic and I'm just venting. This was not the cause for my loss, but it did stand out to me and was interesting, so I figured I'd see others thoughts on the scenario.

Anyone think it's even possible? I just don't think someone could recover from a dunk attempt that quick (let alone a blocked dunk) and tip it in.

If it was blocked right back at him and he hit it back into the basket I guess it could work...

I agree with dacj. In real life, it would almost have to be a partially blocked dunk where it comes right back to him while he's in mid-air and he just taps it in.

blocked off the backboard on a bunny, slow rebound back to his hand to tip in?     

Another possible:  I think a swatted dunk  that is swatted into the basket would be credited to the last offensive player to touch the ball. (One second off of the clock would be used here since there are no 10ths of seconds)

It's possible the other guy swatted it into the basket. It happens occasionally in real life.

I'm fairly certain that when rebounds are calculated no consideration is given to who took the shot.

All valid points. Like I said, it's not a big deal, but I did find it interesting. From these responses, the most likely I could imagine is it was blocked, but not completely swatted (even though it says swatted. in my own definition of a swat, I think of someone getting their **** thrown back hard) and then managed to roll in or bounce in or something directly off the block.

Sometimes the wording of plays here makes some interesting head scratching

I figured the ball bounced off his face and went back up into the basket

It would have to be a pretty hard bounce since it was swatted, or at the very least pretty embarrasing. Would the 2 points be worth getting the ball smacked into your face lol.

I guess it depends on how you feel about being smacked in the face with balls...
