After 13 games, T. Helton has attempted twice & been thrown out both times. I have him @ 0 attempts! So what gives??

Have you checked your baserunning/basestealing aggressiveness in the manager's settings?

If you have set your hit and run at very aggressive (especially) or aggressive, one will typically see a steal attempt or two from guys who you have set at zero for stealing.  The usual scenario being that the batter strikes out when the hit and run is on, though I occasionally see a straight steal attempt (but the key being that the hit and run is on).  Baserunning aggressiveness has nothing to do with steals.

He can also have been picked off - even though he's set to 0 steal, he still leads off a little.  Rare, but I've had it happen to my guys.

My hit & run was set on average. Base running was on aggressive. I guess Helton tends to day-dream when on 1st.

If you check the boxscores, you can see what happened - pickoff, broken hit-and-run, etc.

They were both hit-and-runs.  Took me about 45 seconds to figure that out...
