"I played USC (your 1 seed) earlier this season and if you run into them I have some thoughts on game-planning if you're interested." Hmmm that seems like a tough one. Can you collude with gameplanning?

i say no.  people can co-operate teams, recruit for each other, etc.  there's no real tangible advantage gained as it's just someone elses opinion...i mean what is to say you are even getting good information?

Realistically you can read that game score and PBP as easily as they can.  It might not be considered the best sportsmanship by some, but I'd have a hard time calling it collusion.

No different than people coming onto these boards and asking for advice.

The only way that gameplanning can relate to collusion is if two coaches conspire to throw a game.

Yeah - this isn't collusion at all.

It's basically mentoring.

i think its not collusion, but i always felt it was bad taste to do this in the national tournament. i mean, its one thing in the name of teaching. but at least once someone is out of the first weekend, and definitely in the final 4/title game, i think people should be doing this stuff on their own.

Is it collusion... maybe not... but people who just want to help someone else beat someone they dislike?... how is that any more fair?
Mentoring? what are you smokin?... asking for advice?... no-one ask for advice... someone who wants to see USC lose is offering.
Just how many shades of gray do some of you see?
I call BS... 100%
