Who knows if they are going to update HD again but an idea I have for a teams prestige during recruiting could be "state presence".  The more players that you have recruited from a certain state within the past x # of years gives you a boost for recruiting players in that state. 

I think this would be an interesting addition because it would make it possible for some teams to be able to build a presence in other parts of the country instead of only their own.  Also, this could make recruiting in your state that much more important so that once a stud comes up in your state you have a great shot.
