What's the deal with the sub patterns? Invariably, the engine subs players in within the first minute of the second half every game. Last game, it subbed 3 plyers in after THREE SECONDS! Any clues?

You have got something fouled up there. Are you using fatigue or target minutes?
Your guys have good enough stamina to be playing much more than they are. I would check your settings.

Nothing is wrong with the settings other than they are set to Fairly Fresh.  Some dumb things have been happening along those lines because players start the 2nd half at less than 100%.

Such as this game.

7 substitutions in the first 107 seconds of the 2nd half.  Tyrone Walker started the 2nd half, was subbed at 19:36, reentered at 19:14, checked out at 19:02, came off the bench at 18:53, went back to the pine at 18:39, went back into the game at 18:24, and then needed a breather at 18:13.

I do suppose all those trips to the bench might be winding the player.

again, I disagree... bet U of NE is using target mins.  Nothing in any box score I have looks like that... and I use FF with my press teams always

Hmm ... maybe ... although I used target minutes four seasons ago and didn't have those types of outcomes for my team.  That might make some sense, however.

EDIT: Would target minutes that added up team wide are waaaayyyyy over 200 lead to something like this?

I was thinking more like target minutes all set to 14-18... . looks like those guys come in, but then have some reason for coming right back out even before they get fatigued... the team is playing normal tempo... and has at least decent stamina. No reason that anyone set to FF should play 15 seconds into the 2nd half and come out other than fouls. The guy in your example never plays long enough to tire.
In your example... no way those 4 guys are below FF in 24 seconds. The one guy that you point out has 80 stamina
I think if you could see how that team is set-up you could quickly find the problem.

My rough... un-mathematical calculations say that about 72.957% of all post on the forums... questioning the engine are the direct result of operator error.

Thanks guys! I have used both fatigue and target minutes. Right now they are on target minutes. Either way, it's a bug because this never happened before.

I doubt it's a bug, probably something in the distribution of minutes.
