Loyalty question Topic

I have missed the past 2 seasons after being there for 3 seasons. I want to know if I come back will my loyalty still stay the same.
I also want to know what is the best path to take to get to my dream in this game to get to the MAC. I have been to the PI each of the 3 seasons and been in the RPI top 100 in each of thoose 3 seasons so how many more seasons should I stay?

I don't remember how time away affects loyalty. RE the other question, its not really about time...move up to D II when you feel like you are having some decent success at D III, and the same to D I. If you have decent success at D II I'd think you could go right to the MAC from there... making the NT consistently would be a good measuring stick I think...

I don't know any more specifics than this, but I was away from the game for I'd guess five years (no play between seasons 23-61 in Wooden) and came back to a lower prestige DI team than I had when last I played with no ill affects on loyalty.

In fact, while in other worlds I'd never played before I had a B- to start, in Wooden I began over again with an A in loyalty, meaning my previous expereinces must have actually boosted it some.

At least, that's what I take from it for me. I couldn't tell you any more effects than that.

yes, loyalty stays the same. when you leave a team, they do not penalize you for leaving. IMO, they should actually build back your loyalty if you are away a long time (and maybe they do, re: bistiza's post, but i dont think so), so that coaches who are genuinely frustrated with the game, switch schools, think better of it and quit instead - and then return - don't have to go back to d2, from say, high d1.

fastest way to the MAC... you should be able to pick a d2 team. you are going to need to have a few good seasons, so try to get a team that is not a major rebuild, and really just push to make the NT a few seasons in a row. until you are able to make the NT pretty consistently in d2, you really dont want to move to d1. its harder (coaches are better in general), and recruiting is a major new thing that almost everyone new to, sucks at. it would probably be quite frustrating to both struggle in recruiting and struggle to compete with your players, due to the heightened competition... so i always recommend coaches make sure they've mastered the basics (by making the NT perenially) before they move up to d1.

http://whatifsports.com/hd/TeamProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=12481 this is what I have to work with coming back. Should I stay here for 2-4 more seasons and then stay at d2 for like 4 seasons or move up to d2 for 6 seasons?

move straight up to d2 FOR SURE, if the goal is to get to d1. it will absolutely be faster, and you are probably eligible for any d2 opening right now.

Ok do I go rebuilding D or team that is above the rest B or above or a middle team C

somewhat OT: phillyboy, why is your dream to go to the MAC? as a graduate from Ball State i find it interesting that anyone's crowning achievement would be to participate in MAC athletics, but i think it's awesome!

i have no idea what you are trying to say here. pick up the best team you can find - combination of prestige and current roster. if you can find a team who is already set up to make the NT, great. but if you can't really find any team with solid prestige, just find a team with good prestige and a handful of openings and go from there.

if you are asking from a job resume standpoint, there is no bonus for like, taking over a major rebuild and then making the NT, compared to taking a team ready to make the NT and then making the NT. so take the best team you can find.
