yes, unless he becomes eligible before the season. i basically always promise my ineligible players start + 20, the risk of them making grades is very small, and theoretically it increases the chance they will show up. if its a battle, and will go past signings, i think you can do start + 30 because at some point they can't make grades anymore. im really not sure exactly when the cutoff is... anybody know?

Yeah, we're past signings, so that's my biggest concern.  I assume he isn't making grades at this point and, frankly, he's got good enough starting ratings that starting him wouldn't kill me.  The 30 min might hurt a little though :)

1 Hour prior to Recruiting till the end of recruiting, how many tests does an Ineligible take before it is deemed he's ineligible or eligible for the season?  1 or 2? 

If you get an ineligible player, it's LIKE redshirting him, correct?

Not really.  Just put every available minute into studay hall, since they can't improve in anything over their ineligible season anyway.  They do improve in the offseason, though.  And if you keep their gpa high enough (sorry, I don't remember the cutoff), they might come back for a 5th season.

Are ineligibles out for the entire season? Caan they make grade before season starts?
