I was hoping someone would've run into this issue before regarding the use of clones.  When setting up a theme league, there is an option to disallow clones which I would like to do in the traditional sense.  However, for my State of Birth theme, if someone wants to use Babe Ruth as a pitcher & hitter, I'm allowing this because Maryland has a small pool of players & their SP's aren't great.

So my question, if I select disallow clones, will this prevent the Maryland owner from using Ruth as an OF & SP???  Same issue with Bob Caruthers & Tennessee as I know he's a favorite cookie for most owners!

Clones are defined in WIS as players with the same player ID.

Both Ruth the pitcher, and Ruth the hitter have the same player ID.  So if you disallow clones, you'll prevent the pitcher from being on the same team as the hitter.
(and really, why wouldn't you want to do that?)

My thought was to allow Ruth as a Hitter & Pitcher because MD doesn't have great SP but has an awesome lineup.

Here is the response I got from tech support regarding using Ruth as a hitter & pitcher on the same team:

In the theme wizard, you can choose to disallow clones on both hitters and pitchers. If you limit clones on both, only one instance of Babe Ruth would be allowed on a team. To work around this, you could only disallow clones on hitters (or pitchers), but not both. That situation would allow for a Babe Ruth as both a hitter and a pitcher.

flounder1, you set up a team, then instead of clicking "open league" to place it, click on "new theme league" and the Wizard will start asking you what criteria you want for your league.
