There should be an option to filter by position in the free agent target screen.  Sorting isn't enough if you want to sort on different ratings within the same position.

The position a FA is listed under is often useless information.  Select the 2 most important categories you're looking for & set the minimum rating.  That will give you shorter list of players to look at, and you can sort that list by any rating.

I am talking about the free agent TARGET screen - after you've selected whom you wish to follow.
