Rescinding scholarships Topic

Never done it before--if you rescind a scholarship, do you receive an extra allotment of cash for the available scholarship?  And does it matter whether you do this before or after you begin scouting?

if you rescind a current player you get that open scholarship to offer, but no additonal cash.

You're able to rescind anytime before the signings begin.

thanks, oldwarrior. so you could actually recruit 1 more player than available openings on your team and if this looks to work out, you could then rescind a scholarship before signings to allow you to sign both recruits?

Exactly.  It can be really beneficial in certainl circumstances, actually.

and if you end up not filling that slot, you do get the money in the NEXT season. 

probably want to do this primarily if SIM AI recruited a bad player and he is still say a SOPH.  May not be worth it if he would be gone under his own power next season....although if you are able to do better that is great
