Starting lineup/depth chart suggestions. Topic

Just started playing and was curious as to what peoples thoughts were on creating starting lineups and backups.
Logic tells me some things like high ball handling and passing for point guards and rebounding and low post for centers but outside of obvious things are there some better strategies that I should look at?

A lot of it depends on what offense and defense you run.  1 simple thing to avoid is do not assume high overall means good player.  Durability and work ethic have nothing to do with in game productivity.  Some people (me included) sometimes like putting a good scoring option on the bench in order to see a lot of time against their bench players.  And if you play them at multiple positions (I generally have them as 1st backup for 2), it's harder to gameplan against them.

I have tried to focus on having my players have higher ratings in the 2-4 categories that would benefit that position, i.e my pg has high ball handling and passing numbers of course and my center has high rebounding and blocking numbers.

TBH, your big looks pretty solid, and the Guard doesn't (ATH and DEF are too weak).  Athtleticism and defense are probably the most important attributes in the game (of course other ratings like the ones you mentioned matter too, but try to focus on those first).  I reccomend looking at the top teams at D3 in Phelan, and seeing what ratings their players have and trying to get as close to those as possible (after potential, you find potential using FSS, or future stars scouting during recruiting.)  If you're committed to becoming a good coach I strongly reccomend you read this thread:   http://whatifsports.com/forums/Posts.aspx?TopicID=453763&Page=1    GL and sitemail me if you have any questions.
