I'd probably say Meta World Peace, or whatever the crackhead is calling himself this week.

With a somewhat sizable, but not huge, boost in speed and ball handling, very similar to Tony Allen.

Thabo Sefolosha???

Yeah, Artest is a good comp. I think an even better one is the guy he replaced in LA - Trevor Ariza. Great athlete and on-the-ball defender, and an "OK but not great" outside shooter.

There was a guy at michigan like 5 years ago named Chris Hunter, he was a spitting image of this guy.

Bruce Bowen is my choice.

Bruce Bowen is my choice.
If you can split out the PER rating to "From the corner" and "Anywhere else", then bump his corner PER up 25-30 points.  He made a career out of that shot and suffocating D.

I was gonna say Bowen too.  He really didn't have a jumpshot except from 1 spot when he was all alone.

Tony Allen

You're right - as a Hornets fan, I know Ariza pretty well - he definitely fits. Mediocre to poor offensive game overall, but superb athleticism and defense.

Yeah, but is Ariza really that slow?

I've always considered this guy on my team a Artest type.
Your guy is a little bit slower Ariza.

Offensiv IQ is way too high for Artest.  haha

Isn't Artest a better rebounder? Probably faster than that guy too...
