Guaranteed PT for an Academic Ineligible Player Topic

I recruited a DII player who was academically ineligible his freshman year.  In the recruiting process, I promised him 15 minutes of PT.  Now, as a sophomore, he is getting about 9 minutes a game, but after 6 games he has already lost 2 points off his work ethic.  Is he still expecting 15 minutes of PT?  

Any help is appreciated.  Thanks.

Promises no longer apply to his second season.  
Even though this is his first season of playing, he still is a soph.  Sophs generally expect 10-12 minutes of PT.  If they don't get it, their WE could drop.
