Hurricane in the... Topic

Does WifS have a plan in place for the hurricane? A huge number of users may be without power for days. If your league us at a critical point, that can be devastating.

Same plan they have in place for those of us in Florida...

WIS serves customers beyond the northeast U.S.

Nice. In OCD the commish is holding the roll button back for awhile. In case you hadn't noticed, WifS doesn't "do" plans.

Talk about an east coast bias. I'm guessing a great majority of WIS users are unaffected by the storm; although I  feel badly for those that are, I also don't want everything on hold for a couple of days.

My power is out in NJ.  I used my iphone to do lineups and sign players from a draft that happened this morning.  If there's a will there's a way.

I certainly hope no one is affected too badly by the storm and figure this game is the least of their worries if so.

Watch the news.   A lot of people are affected badly by the storm.

A lot and seems for undetermined amount of time.  I don't see where it would wreck the train if this little pretend game was suspended for a few days in order to cover  those at a crucial point in their season.

Counter to that, why sweat a little pretend game if your home is destroyed?

Yeah if I'm in that situation this whole website would be well down the list of ***** I'd give.

If there was an earthquake in California, do you think the people in Illinois would be happy if HBD was shut down for a few days?

If I were in a situation similar to what some East Coast users are experiencing, this game would certainly be low on my list of priorities, and of course I wouldn't expect HBD to suspend activities, but I sure would appreciate them for alleviating one (albeit minor) concern.  As for me, I live in MN and wouldn't mind a suspension of activities for a few days.  I don't condemn Fox for keeping the site active, but I certainly wouldn't begrudge them for suspending activity for a while.

Counter to all that, you don't have to lose your house or give a **** about HBD to lose power. Thanks ted, for getting it.
