This is a real simple question that I wasn't able to find an answer to in the FAQs. My league is about to start Beudget Distribution tomorrow, and I have a team option on a player for $4M with a buyout of $1M. I'm probably going to buy out the contract, but I'm curious how this affects my Payroll. Is the $4M I'm set to pay him already included in the Payroll or is it put in once I pick up/decline the option? I kind of need to know so I can set my budget accordingly. Any help is great.
