There should be a way to get a recruit to stop considering you. It's ridiculous when you send a couple ST's to like an international, but you realize they suck, but they start considering you. Then people think you're spread out too thin, and you get poached (or whatever you wanna' call it).  The button could be like "the interest is no longer mutual," or "insult the recruit" I don't know, but it's an easy and neccesary fix.

A lot of times an inform of redshirt does the trick. Not always, but most.

I know, but when it doesn't work, there should be an alternative.

I'd send something to seble on this. It's a very simple change and I can't imagine anyone would be against it.

I agree this is a needed change. No one wants to have issues because a recruit just won't go away.

"Sure, coach, I'm okay with a red shirt. In fact, I'll wash everyone's uniform after practice and you can kick me around in practice...please please please can I play for you?"

not to rehash the past, but its a little strange to hear you suggest that there are spoiled teenage basketball sensations who WOULDNT take one for the team (the team they have never been part of before, but still). i thought if you just told a player they sucked so bad they couldnt even play, that would only motivate them to work harder?

If you also tell a player you're not interested in him at all, it should motivate him to seek attention elsewhere.
