I have solid scorers at 4 of 5 positions.  In general, should I put all 4 in the starting lineup or should I have one of them get solid time off the bench to help assure that I almost always have a good scorer on the court?

I like to go with "B" and put at least one of my scorers on the 2nd team.  Then you can use that starting slot for a specialist (passer, rebounder, defender) or someone with potential who can grow faster as a starter.

I tend to agree with this.

I always like to have a good scorer on the bench, a sixth man if you will. Not a lot of coaches game plan for bench players.

Put a scorer on the bench and use the starting spot to beef up something else, whether it be rebounding, defense, whatever, that you a low on. You can reach the point of diminishing returns with too many scorers on court at one time.

I agree with all the above unless your other players are inferior in ath/def to that 4th scorer. I wouldn't sacrifice starting defense just to move a scorer to the bench...

I agree with dac. If the four scorers are also clearly your four best players, then I'm not a fan of moving one to the bench if the guy you'll be starting is a significant dropoff overall.
