What is the distance for the advantage gained when a recruit is very close to campus?  I want to say 30 miles, but am unsure.

Also, does it apply for all recruits?  One would think not, esp. for those whose FSS says "Far from home".  But I've never found the close to / far from home messages to make a difference in lower-division recruiting.

I think inside 70 miles is where you really start to see a big difference.

There is no advantage as far as a recruiting bonus or anything other than being close. The 70 mile rule simply means that certain players who would not talk to you if they were over 70 miles will talk to you.
